Hidemi Takagi at The Homefront Gallery
Hidemi Takagi turns her lens to the packaging of food products from various NYC neighborhoods with a large immigrant influence. These dynamic photographs are accompanied by texts (short stories and notes on the history of these areas), maps and a website. Her latest show “Blender” opens Saturday Feb 12th at The Homefront Gallery, a space founded by Barnard alumna Crystal Kui.
